APPLICATION

CIACOLLOR WATER BASED ENAMEL product suitable for application on ferrous metal, wood, aluminum or galvanized surfaces in external and internal areas. Available in glossy and satin finishes.

This product follows the classification of standard NBR 11702 type 4.2.2.1.



SURFACE PREPARATION / INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

New Wood: eliminate splinters by removing dust with a damp cloth. Apply one coat of Ciacollor Synthetic Leveling Fund. In case of imperfections, fix with Wood Grease. Level the porosity with another coat of Ciacollor leveling synthetic base and then apply the Ciacollor water-based enamel.

Iron or steel surfaces: eliminate possible points of rust or any other impurity. Clean the surface with a dry cloth dipped in thinner or turpentine. Dilute the product and apply two to three coats of Water-based Enamel
Ciacollor directly on the surface.

Galvanized or aluminum surfaces: Clean with a damp cloth and wait for drying. Proceed with product dilution and apply two to three coats of Ciacollor Water Base Enamel directly on the galvanized surface.

NOTE: in case of repainting, make sure that there is no shine on the surface and only then apply the enamel. If there is any shine, remove with suitable sandpaper. Failure to follow this process can lead to problems of low gloss and adhesion.


PRODUCT PREPARATION

As soon as you open the package, stir the product with a spatula / ruler or similar so that it becomes homogeneous.



DILUTION

Spray gun: dilute up to 30% with clean water

Brush, brush or roller: dilute up to 10% with clean water

Before starting painting, stir the product again so that it reaches the ideal point for application and performance.

TOOLS

Roll of wool with low hair, brush, pistol or brush with soft bristles.



YIELD

900 mL packaging: 9 to 11 m² / coat

3.6 L gallon: 35 to 45 m² / coat

18 L: 175 to 225 m² / coat

The yield may change according to the surface, tool used and experience of the applicator.



LAYERS

We recommend painting in 2 layers, respecting the time of 4 hours between layers.
Depending on the surface conditions, an additional layer may be required.


DRYING

30 minutes to touch, 4 hours between coats and 72 hours final. This time may vary according to the local climatic conditions at the time of application.
