APPLICATION

ENAMEL BASE SOLVENT ALUMINUM CIACOLLOR product indicated for application on metal surfaces in external and internal areas leaving the surface with a metallic aspect.

This product follows the classification of standard NBR 11702 type 4.2.1.6.




SURFACE PREPARATION / INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Iron or steel surfaces: eliminate possible points of rust or any other impurity. Clean the surface with a dry cloth dipped in thinner or turpentine. Apply one coat of Zarcão Ciacollor. After drying the zarcon, apply the enamel
Synthetic Ciacollor.

Galvanized or aluminum surfaces: Clean with a damp cloth and wait for drying. Apply a base coat for galvanizing. Wait for the bottom to dry and then apply the enamel.

NOTE: in case of repainting, make sure that there is no shine on the surface and only then apply the enamel or oil paint. If there is any shine, remove with suitable sandpaper. Failure to follow this process can lead to problems of low gloss and adherence to the finish.



PRODUCT PREPARATION

As soon as you open the package, stir the product with a spatula / ruler or similar so that it becomes homogeneous.



DILUTION

10 to 20% with turpentine.

Before starting painting, stir the product again so that it reaches the ideal point for application and performance.



TOOLS

Roller, brush or pistol.



YIELD

900 mL packaging: 10 to 12 m² / coat

3.6 L gallon: 40 to 42 m² / coat

The yield may change according to the surface, tool used and experience of the applicator.



LAYERS

We recommend painting in 2 layers, respecting the time of 4 hours between layers.
Depending on the surface conditions, an additional layer may be required.


DRYING

1 to 2 hours to touch, 4 hours between coats and 72 hours final. This time may vary according to the local climatic conditions at the time of application.
