Leveling Synthetic Background

APPLICATION

SYNTHETIC BACKGROUND LEVEL CIACOLLOR product suitable for application on wooden surfaces, masonry and hardware in external and internal areas. Suitable as a background for the Oil Paint and Ciacollor Synthetic Enamel finishes.

This product follows the classification of standard NBR 11702 type 4.1.1.7





SURFACE PREPARATION / INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

New Wood: eliminate splinters by removing dust with a damp cloth. Apply one coat of Ciacollor Synthetic Leveling Fund. In case of imperfections, fix with Wood Grease. Level porosity with another coat of Synthetic Leveling Base and then apply Ciacollor Synthetic Enamel or Ciacollor Oil Paint.

NOTE: in case of repainting, make sure that there is no shine on the surface and only then apply the enamel or oil paint. If there is any shine, remove with suitable sandpaper. Failure to follow this process can lead to problems of low gloss and adherence to the finish.



PRODUCT PREPARATION

As soon as you open the package, stir the product with a spatula / ruler or similar so that it becomes homogeneous.



DILUTION

10 to 20% with turpentine.
Before starting painting, stir the product again so that it reaches the ideal point for application and performance.



TOOLS



Roller, brush or pistol.


YIELD

900 mL packaging: 7 to 9 m² / coat
3.6 L gallon: 28 to 36 m² / coat
18 L can: 140 to 180 m² / coat

The yield may change according to the surface, tool used and experience of the applicator.



LAYERS

We recommend painting in 2 layers, respecting the time of 4 hours between layers.
Depending on the surface conditions, an additional layer may be required.


DRYING

4 to 6 hours to touch, 8 hours between coats and 72 hours final. This time may vary according to the local climatic conditions at the time of application.
