APPLICATION

SEALER FOR WOOD CIACOLLOR is a bottom indicated for sealing wooden surfaces in general for later application of varnish.

This product follows the classification of standard NBR 11702 type 4.1.1.6



SURFACE PREPARATION / INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

New wood: The surface must be firm (cohesive), clean, dry, without dust, grease or mold. Apply one coat of the Ciacollor Wood Sealer to seal the surface indoors. Sand after 1 hour and remove dust. After this process, apply the varnish.

NOTE: in case of repainting, make sure that there is no shine on the surface and only then apply the varnish. If there is any shine, remove with suitable sandpaper. Failure to follow this process can lead to problems of low gloss and adhesion.



PRODUCT PREPARATION

As soon as you open the package, stir the product with a spatula / ruler or similar so that it becomes homogeneous.



DILUTION

50 to 100% with Thinner Forte.

Before starting painting, stir the product again so that it reaches the ideal point for application and performance.



TOOLS

Roller, brush or pistol.


YIELD

900 mL packaging: 10 to 12 m² / coat
3.6 L gallon: 40 to 48 m² / coat
18 L can: 200 to 240 m² / coat

The yield may change according to the surface, tool used and experience of the applicator.



LAYERS

We recommend painting in 2 layers, respecting the time of 4 hours between layers.
Depending on the surface conditions, an additional layer may be required.


DRYING

15 minutes to touch, 1 to 2 hours for sanding. This time may vary according to the local climatic conditions at the time of application.
