APPLICATION

VARNISH MARITIMO CIACOLLOR
 indicated for application on wooden surfaces in internal and external areas. It has protection against ultra-violet (UV) radiation because it contains an absorber of this radiation. It is available in glossy and satin versions. This product follows the classification of standard NBR 11702 type 4.3.1.3.  

SURFACE PREPARATION / INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
 The surface must be firm (cohesive), clean, dry, without dust, grease or mold. New Wood: To apply varnishes, prepare the surface with a coat of Ciacollor Wood Sealer diluted with strong thinner. Sand after 1 hour and remove dust. Finish by applying the varnish. Repainting: eliminate any kind of shine, using suitable sandpaper. Scrape or brush loose parts before application.  

PRODUCT PREPARATION  
As soon as you open the package, stir the product with a spatula / ruler or similar so that it becomes homogeneous.  

DILUTION
  10 to 20% with turpentine. Before starting painting, stir the product again so that it reaches the ideal point for application and performance.  

TOOLS
  Roller, brush or pistol.

 YIELD
 900 mL packaging: 12 to 14 m² / coat
 3.6L gallon: 50 to 70 m² / coat  
 The yield may change according to the surface, tool used and experience of the applicator.  

 LAYERS  
We recommend painting in 2 layers, respecting the time of 4 hours between layers. Depending on the surface conditions, an additional layer may be required.

 DRYING
  2 to 4 hours to touch, 6 hours between coats and 72 hours final. This time may vary according to the local climatic conditions at the time of application.
