APPLICATION

WATERPROOFING CIABLOQ CIACOLLOR acrylic waterproofing solvent-based coating with high penetrating power indicated to block moisture. It can be used on masonry and plaster surfaces, especially on skirting boards subject to rising damp, embankment walls, retaining walls, underground garages, external paintings of water tanks, cisterns, flower pots, etc. The use of Ciabloq prevents the appearance of moisture stains, early crumbling of the plaster and peeling of the paint in areas subject to moisture.

SURFACE PREPARATION / INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
 Every surface must be properly clean, porous and dry, free from dust or any other type of dirt. In the case of greasy or greased surfaces, first remove the dirt with water and detergent. On moldy surfaces, apply a solution of water and hypochlorite in the proportion of a part of water to a part of hypochlorite and rinse after 6 hours. Apply the product after at least 24 hours of drying. Glossy surfaces should be sanded and cleaned before applying the product.
Prevention of the appearance of moisture on masonry surfaces: the product can be used preventively in newly constructed works. Ensure that the surface to be protected is clean and free of dust. Apply the first coat of Ciabloq diluted with 30% thinner to efficiently penetrate the surface. Apply the remaining coats diluted with 20% thinner and cross-apply them. The minimum number of recommended coats is 3 coats. To avoid rising moisture, the product needs to be applied at least 1 meter high from the floor. Apply Acrylic Paste or Tapa Tudo Ciacollor Paste, Paint or acrylic finish after at least 2 weeks of applying Ciabloq.
Surfaces that are already disaggregated (loose parts): remove with the help of a spatula ensuring that all paint, putty or plaster that is loose is completely removed. Clean the surface with a cloth moistened with thinner to remove any dust residue. Apply the first coat of Ciabloq diluted with 30% thinner to efficiently penetrate the surface. Apply the remaining coats diluted with 20% thinner and cross-apply them. The minimum number of recommended coats is 4 coats for this situation. To avoid rising moisture, the product needs to be applied at least 1 meter high from the floor. Apply Acrylic Paste or Tapa Tudo Ciacollor Paste, Paint or acrylic finish after at least 2 weeks of applying Ciabloq.

Surfaces that have cracks or cracks: treat the cracks and cracks with cementitious paste before applying Ciabloq. After treating cracks and cracks, follow the application procedure as indicated for surfaces that are already disaggregated

Low porosity concrete surfaces: before applying the product it is necessary to treat the surface with muriatic acid to open the surface porosity. Dilute 1 part of muriatic acid in 2 parts of water and spread over the entire surface. Let the acid sit for about an hour. Rinse the surface thoroughly with clean water to ensure that all the acid has been removed. Apply Ciabloq after 24 hours. Apply the first coat of Ciabloq diluted with 30% thinner to efficiently penetrate the surface. Apply the remaining coats diluted with 20% thinner and cross-apply them. The minimum number of recommended coats is 3 coats. To avoid rising moisture, the product needs to be applied at least 1 meter high from the floor. PRODUCT PREPARATION
As soon as you open the package, stir the product with a spatula / ruler or similar so that it becomes homogeneous.

 DILUTION

When mixing the solvent make sure that it is completely mixed with the product before painting. Failure to follow this procedure, as well as improper cleaning can cause staining, spreading and peeling of the product.
 Dilute up to 30% with strong thinner.

 YIELD
3.6L gallon: 20 to 25 m² / coat
 18 L can: 100 to 125 m² / coat
There may be variation depending on the experience of the applicator and the porosity of the surface.

 LAYERS
We recommend painting in 2 layers, respecting the time of 4 hours between layers.

DRYING
 1 hour to touch, 4 hours between coats and 24 hours final. This time may vary according to the local climatic conditions at the time of application. Do not apply this product in strong winds, days with relative humidity above 80% or temperatures below 10ºC.
